There are many fun facts about this session! First, Maggie and DJ were married the very next day! Yes! The very next day after we did the engagement photos, they were married. Secondly, I ran into them at the Art Institute during their photos with my own wedding couple totally unplanned and unexpected! Thirdly, the Air and Water show was practicing during our session and the Blue Angels kept flying overhead so often to the point where I couldn’t talk to them to direct photos. Basically they did all of these cute photos watching me mime the poses to them because we were not able to talk AT ALL. It was SO loud! Fourth and final, Maggie’s uncle is the owner of Anne Sather which is my favorite restaurant in Chicago. Truly this restaurant has been the place of so many happy family memories for us. Some people you are really meant to meet and I think there are no coincidences.
