Long time Logan Square residents, Cara and Jack, were married at their neighborbood venue The Joinery. The vibes were holly, jolly with a dash of Logan Square charm. This wedding was on a -2 degree day but the cozy red and evergreen candlelit reception warmed us all. Spirits were high and flowing as the dance floor filled with guests.

This year I had the incredible opportunity to donate wedding photography to a very deserving couple, Sara and Ramiro.

Eddy and Jol eloped at the height of the covid pandemic in a simple ceremony. While they were so happy to be married, they dreamed of the chance to celebrate in a big way with their friends and family. Their dream finally came true 5 years later at Ovation!

Maddy and Patrick were married at Firehouse Chicago. This wedding was so fun and they served Spaghettio’s!

Libby and Matt were married at Mott St in a Jewish ceremony. The Wicker Park restaurant is known for its Asian inspired dishes and famous burgers. The daffodil yellow chairs and happy floral arrangements from CouCou Studios matched the joyful energy of the day. I love photographing bold and bright colors and their wedding was so colorful from start to finish.

Genevieve and Jeff were married at Firehouse Chicago on a sunny day in August. The aesthetics were so artistic and whimsical, perfect to match the laidback vibe of their wedding.

Dione and Jack celebrated their wedding at Michelin starred, Elske!

This Italian restaurant wedding is the most Chicago experience one can have on their wedding day and when I say that, I am talking about Midwest kindness. As soon as Ida and James stepped out of the hotel so many people stopped to congratulate them on their marriage.

This wedding was so incredible! Jaime and Henry had their lavish wedding at The Old Post Office. Their wedding celebrations spanned every event space in the building. The most breathtaking was the ceremony and they were married under the giant clock. I love how they will always know the exact time they were announced. This wedding was so special as it included many Jewish traditions. The sense of family and community connection was so distinctly felt during these moments which made me a bit emotional to witness.

It’s not everyday that you wake up early for a wedding but for those who like to be in bed by 9 and have an egg dish to kick off a good party, a brunch wedding may be for you. Meg and Sean celebrated their wedding eggs-actly like this with endless mimosas and a breakfast buffet on a warm spring morning at Firehouse Chicago. Do-nut miss this one!

Iman and Matt rung in the New Year with sundaes and wedding rings at Museum of Ice Cream. Sprinkles, scoops and all things pink, this place was the cherry on top of an already sweet day!

Abby and George were married at the Cheney Mansion, a beautiful historic home in Oak Park, Illinois. The venue and its English country inspired architecture alone makes this wedding so special but more than that the day was marked by heartfelt moments.

Bree and Jake are two comedians who share a love of improv. They are often found on the spotlit stages of Logan Square comedy shows. Their whole wedding was so thoughtfully curated.

Their wedding decor was an equal mix of disco balls and mementos of their relationship. To honor Jen’s Chinese heritage, they held a tea ceremony and Haley’s dad sculpted the teapot for the ceremony.

Bridget and Angie were married in an intimate ceremony at the historic Union League Club of Chicago with only their immediate loved ones.

Dana and Tomek celebrated their recent wedding in Wisconsin with an amazing, all out party with all their Chicago friends at Loft on Lake!

Shannon and Sam eloped on a drizzly day at Chicago City Hall but that didn’t stop them from making it memorable.

Amy and Felix had a vibrant traditional Chinese tea ceremony with amazing food, performances, and games.

Amy and Felix had a beautiful couple session with downtown bridges and skyline views. They then were married at LM Studio where they had an expertly choreographed first dance.

Izzi and Miriam said their vows under the chuppah in front of all their friends and family at West Loop’s Kaiser Tiger.
