Couple Celebrates Wedding at Elske

Dione and Jack celebrated their wedding at Michelin starred, Elske! (For all The Bear fans out there, Elske is featured on the show!) This is a restaurant I always love returning to for weddings. Microweddings have a very special place in my heart as my own wedding was only 30 guests on a rooftop in New Orleans.

When you enter the wooden gate of Elske, it transports you into another world. You are no longer in the middle of West Loop. The smell of crackling wood from the outdoor hearth draws you into a spacious patio and raised beds of purple wispy plants. The space has two levels, the lower for dining and the upper for cocktails. Dione and Jack started their day by having a traditional tea ceremony. Afterwards, their guests began arriving for cocktail hour. The small bites were incredible! After a grand entrance and some speeches, Dione and Jack mingled with their guests. When dinner concluded, they did a cake cutting and everyone enjoyed the famous Elske s’mores around the fire.
