When I think of a New England summer, I see sailboats, sun and lobster. This is exactly what this couple recreated right here on Lake Michigan at the Wilmette Harbor Club. John is in the seafood industry and this was their admitted biggest priority for the wedding. They transported fresh seafood from New England to ensure they had the very best for their day. This nautical and coastal wedding was a breath of fresh sea air, because it was on Lake Michigan, which is a freshwater lake. All jokes aside, it really impresses me when people are able to create this very specific feeling at their weddings. The visionary planner Grace at Lionhearted Events delivered more than wedding ambience, she created a space that Martha Stewart could mistake for her beach house.
