Mara and Nick know how to laugh and they know how to throw a wedding full of sentimental value to their relationship. “Elsker Deg” or Norwegian for “I love you” hung on a neon sign behind them. For their processional, one of their friends led the way playing the guitar while Nick met Mara halfway down the aisle and walked her the rest of the way. Many of their friends in the audience had a part in the ceremony with well wishes. Nick’s mom wrote a very sweet speech about gratitude for this moment after overcoming a dire cancer diagnosis when Nick was a child saying this was a day she is so grateful to be present for. It was a day full of love not just for Mara and Nick but for those who also love them so dearly.
