Melanie and Michael had an intimate ceremony in their Logan Square apartment planned for their friends and family later that evening. They love all things mid-century modern and wanted fun and retro inspired photos to commemorate the day before the festivities began.

We did a photo studio style shoot at home with their aluminum and peach tassel ceremony backdrop and then headed to their favorite neighborhood soda fountain. Spinning J is a gem in Humboldt Park. Melanie and Michael, who frequent so often that they know the owner, had the cutest photo session over a slice of pie and milkshakes.
